I sometimes wonder if I should give up on this. I’m not as young as I used to be, the words don’t come as easily too.

On the other hand, I guess I should still try.

It made it into The New York Times’ list of top 50 places to visit in 2025, and we only found out after we made our plans. We were worried it’d then be full of NYT reader types, but thankfully, there was none of that.

There’s something to be said about seeing that view of the mountains. Never figured myself to be much of a mountain view guy, but it’s hard to ignore.

Especially when the light hits just right.

This place is beautiful. Also slightly melancholy, but very beautiful.
