Here’s Lookin at You, Kid

Someday, (hopefully thru the magic of the interweb 3.0) the person this little baby will grow into will see this.

It’s always amazing, looking into that little window thru the mommy’s belly into that quiet, water-filled world and at that point in time it’s just a little bit hard not to “ask am I ready for this?”

Will he grow to like the same things? Ask the same questions, make the same mistakes? Maybe, and maybe not. For whatever reason that the human brain automagically accepts and understands that emotion that wants to protect and nurture so much (according to House, it’s an evolutionary directive), so unconditionally – my only response would be that I completely surrender to it.

It’s the only imaginable one.
